Jordan greeted me warmly as soon as I stepped in the door, before I even reached the hostess stand, with a cherry hello and a big warm smile. She seated me quickly and then completely unprompted told me about their menu, and the fact that everything is locally sourced, where a few things came from faround the area as well as what her favorite dishes on the menu were. Almost as an aftermath she pointed out the actual specials of the day, but it was lovely to hear what she really likes. She clearly enjoys her job! Carrille was my server, and she was equally warm, friendly and welcoming. It was almost like eating at home having a good friend around. Attentive without being intrusive, she made sure to check back several times that I was okay and still enjoying my meal, and she made a very good recommendation of the bread pudding for dessert! Silver Diners are pretty much the same everywhere you go, but the level of service you receive is vastly different from one location to another if ever I'm in this area again, I would definitely make a beeline for this particular Silver Diner!
I had no idea this place had a bar! Great place to grab lunch or an early dinner. The Cobb salad was delicious as well as the fresh cheeseburger and fries. I didn't get a milkshake this time but they are made the old-fashioned way which just seems to blend better. The food selection covers most quick meal selections but is made with a white tablecloth feel. The establishment maintains an old-school vibe that can be appreciated. It is very quiet and clean like a restaurant should be!
The host Andrea was amazing! Beautiful soul, even as I waited to be seated she made my experience amazing! My server big James was one of a kind! Truly love this location and the staff always a 10/10! ❤️ Jahlia was also very helpful during our visit! I highly recommend this location!
My true restaurant love is Silver Diner! I’ve been a Silver Diner customer for many years. The food is always fresh and scrumptious! A friend and I visited recently to debut the new lunch Smash burger. It was juicy and delicious. A must try! Also, I got my usual Chipotle Salmon and Shrimp and it was perfect! Everything was just yummy!😋😋😋
I found this place late night searching for food while in the area. It was the best decision ever. Everything was delicious! My only issue was I didn’t have enough caramel sauce for my bread pudding.

I ordered his recommendation, the Snake River Farms chopped steak, and it was absolutely delicious. The host, Andrea, was warm and welcoming and set a positive tone for the entire visit. The only downside was hearing managers yelling across the restaurant at employees, which was surprising and took away a bit from the otherwise great atmosphere. Me and my friend went here for dinner passing through Waldorf, and it was the absolute best service and food we've ever had. Mia was our waitress and George was the supervisor who both waited on us. They were so professional and kind. I tried to take a photo of my food, but it was so good I ate half of it before posting 😆 I wish this place was in my hometown!!! We WILL be visiting again if we pass thru!
Had an amazing dinner at Silver Diner in Waldorf and I’m already planning my next visit. The *Creekstone Farms Hanger Steak ($36.29)* was cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. Tender, flavorful, and you can tell the quality is there. The *Rosemary Lamb Chops ($30.79)* were just as good, they are marinated for several hours they were juicy, not gamey at all, and the rosemary came through without overpowering them. Everything tasted fresh, from the mains down to the sides. Nothing felt reheated or frozen. Our waiter was on point too, attentive, friendly, checked in at the right times, and kept water coming without us asking. For a diner, the quality here punches way above its weight. Worth every penny.
